the lower part of the front forks where the calibers hook up. was wondering if they can be removed from the fork and replaced or if i was better off buying a new set of forks. reason being im buying a bike with a single caliber. i want dual but the right lower has been shaved down so i need to replace it to bolt a new caliber to it.
thanks in advance

in my opinion your better off going on ebay and getting a whole new fork. by the time you pay for just the lower, as well i someone to install it (assuming your going to take it to a shop), it would be cheaper and faster.

R1's are nice bikes, tell the seller to drop some money or replace the forks.
