Man, I'm crossing my fingers for ya bro! If you get up there just yell, "BLINGROCKETS.COM", yeah baby!!!

-I was really proud to see Pinks last night when two choppers went up against each other. The winner was running a 300 rear and it was making really good traction. I hear that a 300 Avon with traction has been in the works for some time now.

AVON 300+ just came out with a newer tire design. Seen it first hand. Sweet tread patterns and stiffer sidewall and softer center, just opp of what I have now. Said it has to due with the ballancing issue they'v had.

Is that a 300 tire?...I ran a Diablo on my old 240 kit, and I was impressed...but then on the flip side I just rode the bike and I didn't drag race on it.

New info update found:

ARM DROP BIKES Update Event Now 70% Sold Out!

Here is the latest from Rich ------ensen on the exciting, action packed October 3-5th Armdrop Bike / MIROCK weekend. First, the Custom Bobber built exclusively for the event by A-1 Cycles (in West Palm Beach, Florida) has been completed and is on its way to MIR. This awesome machine will be awarded to some lucky racer on Saturday October 4th.

So here's what Rich has in store for the weekend. On Friday, MIR will hold an exclusive Test & Tune open only to bikes entered in the ArmDrop / MIROCK event. Gates will open at 6:00 pm and the test session will be from 6:30 - 11:00 pm. There will also be one optional qualifying time run session for Street ET and Pro ET starting at 9:00 pm. Rich will be there on Friday night scouting for racers and looking for story lines; so we strongly suggest that everyone try to make Friday night to get parked, teched and get some additional track time. Admission for Friday night is $10 per person and a test session tech card is $20 (includes admission).

On Saturday, gates will open at 9:00 am and there will be a riders meeting with Rich at 10:00 am in the grandstand beside the tower that all riders need to attend. We will start qualifying time trials for Pro ET/Quick 32, Street ET, Grudge and Pro classes immediately after the meeting. Due to the large field of bikes pre-entered, there will only be time for one session of qualifying time runs before filming of the TV Pilots start at 1:00 pm. The first TV pilot will be an exciting mix of PINKS All Out and PINKS Lose Your Race Lose your Ride, except you have nothing to lose and a chance to win the awesome A-1 Cycles Custom Bobber. Here is the plan as of the writing of this press release (those of us that know Rich know to never say "definitely" to anything). Just like PINKS All Out, the closest group of 16 that Rich likes will be selected from both Streetbike and Pro ET. Then Rich will arm drop these two fields down to a final. Rich will then interview the two finalists in each class, choosing one pair for an original PINKS style racing, with a first to 4 wins rider negotiating between runs. The remaining pair will be ready as back up should the first pair not be able to finish a best 4 out of 7 race. The first racer to win 4 runs will be awarded the one of a kind A-1 Cycles Custom Bobber.

The second TV Pilot will be for the fearless of racers, a race that only Rich ------ensen could conceive, "Wheelie Drags". Yes, you read it right...Wheelie Drags!! Rich will put a cone at about the 100' mark and another at about 400'. It's a drag race to the finish line, but with a big twist. You have to have the wheels up (at a 45 degree angle) by the first cone and keep them up until you pass the second cone - then it's a wheels down race to the finish line! There will be one session to qualify the quickest 16. Then Rich will eliminate the 16 riders as only Rich can do, everything is negotiable the distance of the cones, links, nitrous everything. $2,000 cash will be going to the winner and a chance to be a hero on national TV.

We will run a second qualifying session for the Pro and Grudge bikes in between the first and second episode. Then right after the completion of filming for the two episodes, we will run the final time run / qualifying session for all classes. Currently, there are no changes in the pre-announced program for Sunday (with Pro ET, Street ET and Quick 32 running for double purses). So all racers should make every effort to be at the track on Friday so they're ready to go early Saturday morning for what will ultimately be motorcycle drag racing history! If you have not yet purchased your entry or know of a fellow racer that still needs to, you need to do it immediately. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this historic event.

I ran a 240 diablo on the street and was impressed with it, rode very well. Bigrod you need to go the turbo route on your bike, I am positive that would boost your numbers in the 1/4 substancialy...I would recomend a stage one kit from RCC, they are well put together and should "boost" you to about the +200hp range on a stock motor.

On a sepperate note I have been EXTREMELY dissapointed with PINKs :1 (56): the show was initialy intended to be a dragracing show for motorcycles, and they have only realy aired one or two shows with them.

Yea Pink's have received several complaints about not have bikes. I have only seen three with bikes. This is to kick off having more bikes.
Turbo...OH believe me I have been wanting one. I have to hold out on dropping any more big $$$ untill work ( Construction ) is rolling again. Not looking good at the end of year.:scared:

Ok here we go. My misstake...it was not a PINK'S event, but "ARMDROP" by Rich ------enson. Rich spoke to all the racers for about 45 min. He sold the PINKS concept to SPEED over 4 years ago and it was to be about 80% bikes and the rest cars. The tracks get sold out for the cars so thats where the show went. Rich has now started his own company '"ARMDROP, bike racing". He out of his own pocket was filming a pilot show to address to the SPEED network. If they bite...that pilot MAY be on TV, but will start a hole new season of recording "ARMDROP".
Rich address how he loves bikes and watching them race. He said " he can NOT ride them, all he does is crash them"....and the stands busted out laughing.:LaughHard:

Friday test/tune; I had 2 runs best = 10.47@134mph.
Sat morning I light the tire off the line and had a 11.6@ 131mph. We all thought that we would get aother run but with Rich dropping his arms. NOT so...time was getting in the way. From that first run they picked 16 street bikes ( low 9's) and 16 pro street bikes to run/film the ARMDROP.
Final set-up was a GSXR 1000 from the pro class VS. 08 turbo Busa from streetbike class. The Busa was having issues of popping and heating. End was the gixxer 1000 wins 4 out 5 and took home a $20K Bobber bike. The Bobber is one of more if SPEED picks-up the show. Here is a catch of new rules for the Armdrop. Final pair.....if one has catastrophic FAILURE...BOTH pair of bikes are out and the next two ( semi final loosers ) are brought in to run 4 out of 5. Rich will not give away a $20k bike win to a bike that would win based on his opponents breakdown.:thumbup1:

The Wheely drag race......:LaughHard: it was entertaining to watch.. Final 16 got to agree on where the cones for "wheely zone" got placed each run= the hole 1/4 mile. Winner road that thing out 60ft thru the hole 1/4 and ran 10.2@103mph ( I think in that range).:aplaudir:

At 9pm I finally got to run again 10.8@131mph, yea smoking it off the line again. I changed my gearing to 16/43t on Thursday and did not adjust normall track tire pressure for more bite.

All in all a good time. *NOTE* SPEED has not ordered any more recording of PINK'S, but of only PINK'S all out. They do not like seeing the bickering of nigotiations and SANDBAGGING. Contact SPEED or do any thing you can do to get this PILOT into a full season show. Spread the work..." ARMDROP":2cool:

Sorry it long...my pics will be up by end of week.

U running in the 10s with that big tire...that's not bad, respectable time for a bike with a jackshaft and LEDs. Now you just need a turbo and I'm sure you'll break 8s!!!

That show is gonna be awesome if it gets to see the light of day...you should be thinking of running a stage one turbo kit for your bike, reliable and make better times than a bigbore kit would.

I have been bouncing back and fourth about motor work....but giving the MULLET its own blow-dryer would fit the theme.:2CrazyLOL: The winter build mods had the green for the budge, but got layed off mid NOV and that change the plans for now. Or atleast dealyed them.
